if there is one thing i love about instagram, it's that i have been able to find kindred spirits via the internet.
one subject, in particular, that my google news personalization knows about is my obsession with airline travel. obsession is born from fear here. however, i stumbled across this insta through google news' insistence on feeding me stories about flight attendants.
so, enter passenger shaming. new favorite, especially since it tipped me off that those wet ones i carry in my bag can be used on my seat space on the plane to get rid of whatever nasty-ass person's gross habits that were there before me.
i have a milestone birthday coming up, and one thing i wanted to accomplish before then was a trip to japan, mostly driven by my childhood of sanrio obsession. i took my savings of the past two years and finally committed to a trip to japan. on the way home, i boarded the plane and sat down and started wiping everything in sight with my packed wet ones. as i was doing so, and the rest of the passengers were boarding, a woman walking in the aisle by me made eye contact, and said, 'i have the lysol wipes. i thought i was the only one who cleaned up the airplane seat.' since this was an exciting moment for me, and my OCD, i laughed and let her know she was not alone.
the bottom line here, is people are disgusting. and, if you want to know how much so, check out the passenger shaming insta.
